Giriş gereklilikleriYöneticiler için İşletmecilik Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans programına dört yıllık yurt içi ve yurt dışı üniversite mezunlarının alınması planlanmaktadır. Programa öğrenci kabulü, ODTÜ İşletme Bölümü tarafından belirlenecek yönteme ve ilgili yasal mevzuata uygun olarak yapılır. Değerlendirme kriterleri: * TOEFL/ODTÜ-İYS * LES/GMAT * Lisans Not ortalamaları * Referans mektupları, mesleki deneyimleri * Niyet mektubu * Başvuru sahipleri ile yapılacak yüzyüze görüşmeler

Yöneticiler için İşletmecilik Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans Programının öğrenim dili İngilizcedir.
Yüksek lisans programının amaçları:Yöneticiler için İşletmecilik Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans programının amacı, çeşitli sektörlerdeki orta ve üst kademe yöneticileri ile işletmelerde yönetici olmayı hedefleyen, özellikle işletmecilik dışında meslek formasyonuna sahip olanları, işletme sistemleri ve metodolojileri konularında eğitmek ve mesleklerini yerine getirmedeki etkinliklerini artıracak bilgi ve becerilerle donanımlarını sağlamaktır.
Mezuniyet Sonrası İş Olanakları: Yöneticilere halen çalıştıkları şirketlerde üst kademelere daha rahat ilerleme imkanı sağlayacağı gibi, diğer şirketlerde de daha üst kademelerde iş bulma imkanı sağlayacaktır. Kendi şirketlerinde çalışarak gelenler ise edindikleri becerilerle işlerini daha verimli ve etkin bir hale getirebileceklerdir. Ayrıca öğretim dili İngilizce olduğu için gerek çok uluslu şirketlerde iş bulma fırsatlarının gerekse yurt dışı iş imkanlarının gelişmesi de mümkün olacaktır.

EMBA 5101 - Strategic Management: (2-0)2 It is a capstone course to show the student the need for and methods of integrating a firm's various functional area activities in a dynamically changing environment. Furthermore, strategic management will be emphasized, that is the process dealing with the fundamental organizational renewal and growth, with the development of the strategies, structures and systems necessary to achieve such renewal and growth and with the organizational systems needed to effectively manage the strategy formulation and implementation processes.
EMBA 5103 - Executive Skill Development: (3-0)3 Especially designed for executives, this course provides students with the opportunity to develop cognitive, skill, and experiential-practicum learning applied to ongoing leadership and organizational problems. It aims to develop self-awareness of personal attributes and goals, enhance personal development, and impart skills needed to function as future executives. Topics to be covered will include teamwork skills, negotiation skills, conflict management, managing time and stress, effective problem solving, understanding and working through corporate culture, written and oral communication skills, and other leadership skills.
EMBA 5202 - Essentials of Organization: (3-0)3 This course provides a systematic and analytic study of the structure and functioning of organizations and the behavior of groups and individuals within them. The emphasis will be on the pragmatics of organization and management. Emphasis on the analysis of the fit between the organization, its people and their work, its environment and internal systems; analysis of the interaction of organizational design and various performance measures; awareness of contemporary views of best practice in the structuring of organizations and the management of the people that comprise them.
EMBA 5204 - Managing Human Resources: (2-0)2 The course is designed to cover the policies, procedures and practices governing the recruitment, selection, training, promotion, remuneration and working conditions of the people employed by an enterprise. Special emphasis is given to the concept of globalization and its impact on work force diversification and organization of the work force.
EMBA 5301 - Information Systems for Executives:(2-0)2 The course focuses on the strategic role of information systems in organization. It has a managerial, rather than technical perspective on how to generate business value from information systems investments. Various types of information systems and their applications in different decision making environments, their impact on firm performance, strategic issues in the planning, development and implementation of systems, the opportunities and threats of e-Business are among the topics covered.
EMBA 5401 - Accounting for Business Decisions: (3-0)3 Designed for executives, basic concepts of financial and managerial accounting are covered in this course. Special emphasis is given to reading financial statements and the use of accounting information in everyday decision-making by managers via development of sound measurements and uses of accounting data; and control and evaluation of economic activity.
EMBA 5501 - Quantitative Decision Tools for Managers: (3-0)3 This is a course covering basic statistical concepts and methods useful in decision making in the business environment. Emphasis is put on descriptive and inferential tools used in converting raw data into useful information; and on the use of statistical computer packages and interpretation of statistical results. The course also covers the most commonly used models/methods of Operations Research/Management Science. This course aims at introducing the students to some of the quantitative decision making tools that are highly applicable in solving practical problems faced every day by managers.
EMBA 5602 - Managing Operations: (2-0)2 The operations management functions in manufacturing and service industries; demand forecasting, capacity planning, facility location and layout, product design, process selection, job design and work measurement, production planning and control, Japanese manufacturing systems (JIT), theory of constraints, quality control.
EMBA 5702 - Marketing Management: (2-0)2 This course focuses both on the introduction of marketing concepts and managerial decision making regarding the marketing function. The course is designed for people who have little or no formal training in marketing. Especially designed for business professionals who work with marketing professionals on a day-to-day basis, managers who want to know more about marketing, or small business owners who need to understand basic marketing concepts. Covered with a case-based and highly applied perspective.
EMBA 5801 - Economic Environment of Business: (3-0)3 This course is designed to provide a solid foundation of economic understanding for use in executive decisions. Thereby, the course offers a comprehensive treatment of micro and macro-economic principles and analysis to help the business firm in its specific decision problems. Special emphasis is given to the recent developments in the Turkish economic environment.
EMBA 5802 - Financial Management for Executives: (2-0)2 This course examines the main issues in finance incorporating theory and practice with emphasis on investment and financing decisions of the firm. Special references are given to applications in Turkey. It provides students with grounding in the basic concepts of finance, including the time value of money, the role of financial markets, asset valuation, capital budgeting decisions, portfolio theory, asset pricing, and the risk-return tradeoff.

EMBA 5112 Small Business Management : (1-0)1 This course aims at introducing the facet of management that deals specifically with small business enterprises. In so doing, defines small and medium sized enterprises as specified in the European Union, and discusses various issues related to such enterprises. In the meantime, it also aims at discussing the practical problems faced by small business managers in practice and offer possible solutions to these problems.
EMBA 5113 International Business: (1-0)1 The objective of the course is to introduce/refresh the main aspects of the international economy that one typically faces when conducting business at the international level. Specifically, the course aims at introducing the executives to the field of international investment and international trade
EMBA 5114 Turkish Business Environment: (1-0)1 This course analyzes the main parameters of the environment within which business takes place in Turkey. To this end, it aims at understanding the historical background as well as the current context Turkish firms have been operating in as well as assessing the environment-related factors that cause firms to create, sustain, or lose competitive advantage.
EMBA 5115 Corporate Governance: (1-0)1 The major components of corporate governance will be discussed to build the foundation of these issues. The manifestations of problems in terms of complaints as to the responsibilities of firm and managerial accountability, ineffective and complacent boards, excessive managerial compensation will be major issues to be highlighted; and actions that were taken and that may be taken to address these issues will be discussed.
EMBA 5116 Entrepreneurship and Family Business: (1-0)1 This course is designed to provide executives with a broad perspective of the topics of entrepreneurship, development and management of family firms and their specific characteristics. Issues addressed include the complex relationship among the family: business and owners; leadership; corporate culture and ethics of family firms and the reasons behind their short survivals; responding to change; institutionalization of family business; and corporate strategy and policy in transition to professional management.
EMBA 5117 European Regulations for Business: (1-0)1 The course is designed to inform executives on procedures about import/export regulations; tax and related legal aspects; product regulations; and sales strategies within the European Union.
EMBA 5211 Organizational Development:(1-0)1 This course aims to evaluate various models for organizational change, and to review the basic elements of diagnosis and research in organizational development (OD) and thus help executives to understand the benefits and limitations on current popular movements in OD. To illustrate the connection between OD theory and practice, concepts will be reviewed and applied to cases.
EMBA 5311 Technology/Innovation Management: (1-0)1 Technological developments are proceeding at an ever-increasing pace, forcing companies to adapt quickly. This requires an understanding of management elements which are necessary to bring technological developments from initial innovation through development and final use. The objective of this course is to develop an awareness of the issues and problems related to the field of management of technology and innovation. The course will focus primarily on the development and use of development capabilities relevant to product development and is geared towards students seeking to better understand technological issues.
EMBA 5411 Budgeting and Pricing: (1-0)1 Designed for executives, the course aims to demonstrate the master and flexible budgets, how to use them in short-term decision making, pricing and performance appraisal. Links among various budgets will be emphasized in addition to examination of factors that should be considered in the budgeting process.
EMBA 5412 Managerial Accounting Tools for Decisions: (1-0)1 The course is designed to meet the needs of executives in short-term decision making process. In doing so, it provides managerial accounting techniques such as cost volume profit analysis; target income; multi-product analysis and relevant cost analysis.
EMBA 5413 International Financial Reporting: (1-0)1 Given the recent developments in international financial reporting nationally and internationally, the course aims to inform the executives on the International Financial Reporting Standards and the effect of select standards on the financial statements.
EMBA 5611 Supply Chain Management: (1-0)1 Supply chain management is a business function that provides its executives insight into all other business functions. Careers in supply management offer the challenge of integrating all of the supply management activities into a smoothly operating system. Hence, good supply management greatly improves the firm’s productivity, profitability, and return on investment. In this course we will try to develop (a) an understanding of key drivers of supply chain performance (b) an understanding of the complexities of inter-firm and intra-firm coordination (c) analytical and problem solving skills necessary to develop solutions for a variety of supply chain management and design problems.
EMBA 5811 Project Evaluation and Financing: (1-0)1 This course mainly deals with the design and analysis of new investment projects. Topics such as Project financing approaches; Leasing, Venture Capital and Build-Operate-and-Transfer will be discussed in the context of Turkey.
EMBA 5812 Derivatives and Other Exotic Financial Instruments: (1-0)1 This course is designed to introduce the executive to the principles of derivatives. It attempts to strike a balance between institutional details and practical applications. Parallel to the already increasing attempts to integrate derivative securities and markets into the Turkish financial system, it will provide the current national and global developments.
