The aim of the MA program in Political Science and International Relations is to prepare students with specialized knowledge in their fields of interest. The subfields include International Relations, Comparative Politics, Turkish Politics, and Political Theory.
A major goal of the MA program is to encourage students to continue their studies towards a Ph.D. degree in prominent universities at home and abroad.
An MA degree in Political Science and International Relations prepares students for jobs in the increasingly integrated world of business, media, and politics.

MA Thesis : Candidates for the MA degree are required to write a thesis and defend it.
Ph.D. Entrance Examination : After completing 24 credit hours of course work in the MA program, those students with a minimum GPA. of 3.75 may directly apply to the Ph.D. program. Those who successfully complete their MA program with a thesis must take the entrance examination for the Ph.D. program.
